This award-winning unheated propagator helps you reliably propagate many young plants at once and

harden them off for transplantation.

Vitopod Unheated Propagators allow you to set the ultimate environment for each stage of propagation, offering precision temperature and

humidity control and adjustable height options.

It is made up of a durable plastic base within which multiple plugs can easily be fed water and nutrient solution.

The lid is made of a clear, UV-resistant acrylic with several adjustable butterfly vents.

Allowing for unobstructed light and air ventilation from all sides.

These vents afford maximum control over humidity and airflow as the plants develop.

Generally, you need to keep the vents closed early on (while your plants are most vulnerable) and open them up gradually as your plants

start to develop root systems.

Compared to those grown without a propagator, young plants grown in a Vitopod Unheated Propagator grow faster, develop larger,

healthier root networks, and are ready for transplanting far sooner.

The height of all Vitopod Propagators can be adjusted with the addition of a Vitopod Extra Layer. The propagator’s lid can be taken off to

add the extra layer,

increasing the height of the unit by 15cm. Extra Layers can be stacked as many times as required.

With the lid securely in place, the propagator’s stacked modular construction gives you the space to overwinter multiple larger plants inside

a single Vitopod unit.

The small model measures 59cm x 59cm x 27cm, fitting six half-seed trays or 25 pots.

The large model measures 111cm x 59cm x 26cm, fitting 12 half-seed trays or 55 pots.

For UK we accept PayPal, money orders, personal cheque, bank transfers or credit cards. Money orders, cheque or cash sent must include a reference or eBay username plus the item number, Postal orders and cash must be sent recorded delivery as we cannot take responsibility for lost money. 

Alternatively, you are more than welcome to collect your order from our premises in Cambridge and browse our shop which stocks over 1000 products. 

Delivery times: Please see our feedback for customer’s comments on the speed of delivery. We carry a huge stock level and most courier orders placed before 4 pm are received the next day. 

Please click on ‘Request total from seller’ for multiple items on the payment page. You will be charged the highest postage cost for 1 item and then £1 for each additional item. You will not pay more than £10 for delivery (ex. heavy items i.e. soils, lights etc.) 

Items less than 2kg in weight can be sent throughout the UK and N.Ireland at our standard postal rates by Royal Mail.

Items over 2kg are sent by courier where a delivery surcharge applies to:  

Highlands & Isle of Wight: Before 16:00 only £16 up to 20kgs in weight for post codes: AB37-38,41-45,51,56, FK19-21, IV1-28,30-37,40,54,63 KW1-3,5-14, PA21-40, PH15-26,30-41,49,50,TD, PO30-41 

Scottish Offshore Islands: Two Day Only £20 up to 20kgs in weight for post codes: HS1-9, IV41-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20,40-49,60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 

Northern Ireland £25 up to 10kg in weight, £1.25 per kilo thereafter 

Republic of Ireland £35 up to 5 kilos in weight, £2.75 per kilo thereafter
